FAQ

Do you take insurance?

We are in network with CareConnect Insurance.  We are covered as out-of-network providers for most other insurance companies. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions to get started: 

  • Do I have out-of-network behavioral health coverage? 
  • If yes, what is my deductible?
  • Once my deductible is met what is the reimbursement rate? (This is a percentage of the rate your insurance will cover i.e. 70% reimbursement rate would mean they pay 70% and you pay 30% co-insurance.  Make sure to ask if they cover the full rate or if they reimburse at "market rate"). 

If you are using your out-of-network benefits, our office will provide you with all the billing codes and information you need for filing claims on your monthly invoice.  You will be responsible for paying for treatment upfront and your insurance company will reimburse you directly.  

How do I get started?

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can pay by cash, check, or credit card. Checks can be made payable to Meghan Breen, LCSW.

What is the cancellation policy?

Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time, if you cancel within the 24-hour window you will be charged a late cancellation fee.  

If I participate in a group, can I continue to see my individual therapist?

Absolutely, we are happy to collaborate with other therapists, psychiatrists, or other service providers to make sure you are getting the best care and most comprehensive treatment.
