Real Skills for Real Life: Effective Therapy for a Changing World.

Life can be a lot.

My Training & Credentials

I am passionate about staying current with the most effective, research-backed treatment approaches. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, addictions, trauma, and mood disorders, with a deep focus on family of origin and family systems work. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating the recovery journey.

Life is complex and messy. Change is really hard. The good news is, you don't have to do it perfectly, and you don't have to do it alone.

My approach is relational and collaborative. While I'm an expert in specific, evidence-based treatments, you are the expert on your life. Together, we find solutions that work for you and your loved ones in a gentle, non-judgmental, human way. We'll use skill, humor, and the balance of acceptance and change to help you build the life you want to be living.

As a systemically trained social worker, I believe we are the sum of all our lived experiences, including the intergenerational ones and the impact of the systems in our culture and enviornments. The goal is to understand ourselves and our history, rather than judge it. Identify how it actually makes a lot of sense that we are exactly the way we are, and come by it honestly. From there, we learn skills and take actions to show up more effectively and authentically in our lives. And make changes to patterns, our programing, our relationships, and our belief systems that get in the way of the life we want.

I am so glad you are here. We've got this.
