What we do everyday matters more than what we do every once in a while

Couples Therapy

Relationships are powerful and can be really intense.  They are probably the most challenging and exceptionally enriching experiences we have as humans. Often in couples work we find that two people who love each other are in a damaging dynamic that is on repeat and really difficult to navigate from a triggered, fearful, defensive space.  We work with couples from an eclectic blend of Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, DBT, and Ackerman Relational Approach.  Through training at the Ackerman Institute coupled with our behavioral expertise we work with a blend of skills and techniques that help couples navigate disconnection and find more effective ways to connect, work through difficulty, and be more vulnerable with one and other. Whether you are seeking treatment for a specific issue or a broader, more general challenge, we will work to bridge areas of disconnection and conflict through the use of curiosity.  Eventually making a shift towards being allies in a partnership with deeper connection and understanding of one and other.

Meghan works with traditional and non traditional couples and families.  Meghan just completed Ackerman's year long AASECT Sex Therapy training and works with couples to navigate both emotional and physical intimacy.

Couples sessions are 60 minutes
